Intro
Act-On is a marketing automation platform designed to coordinate inbound and outbound marketing campaigns. To learn more about the Act-On API, visit their page (https://developer.act-on.com/reference/api-overview ).
You connect to your Act-On account in the Data Center. This topic discusses the fields and menus that are specific to the Act-On connector user interface. General information for adding DataSets, setting update schedules, and editing DataSet information is discussed in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.
Prerequisites
To connect to your Act-On account and create a DataSet, you must select the Region.
Connecting to Your Act-On Account
This section enumerates the options in the Credentials and Details panes in the Act-On Connector page. The components of the other panes in this page, Scheduling and Name & Describe Your DataSet, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in greater length in Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector.
Credentials Pane
The Act-On API supports Oauth mechanism.
This pane contains fields for entering credentials to connect to your Act-On account. The following table describes what is needed for each field:
Once you have entered valid Act-On credentials, you can use the same account any time you go to create a new Act-On DataSet. You can manage connector accounts in the Accounts tab in the Data Center. For more information about this tab, see Managing User Accounts for Connectors.
Details Pane
This pane contains a primary Reports menu, along with various other menus which may or may not appear depending on the report type you select.

Email Id | Enter your email address to get all available contacts from your lists. Note: You can find your email address in the E-mail Address column of the All contacts details report. |

Campaigns | Select the Campaign associated with the account. |

Listing Type | Select the type of content list you want to pull into your report. |
Period | Select a filter for your data. |
Date | Select the date for your report. Note that this is a monthly report so only the month and year will be used. |
List Id Selection Criteria | Select whether to retrieve data for all or some list IDs. |
List ID | Select the list IDs to report. |
